Target = Kill

The MEA and PLA troops have no armour so their target value is their kill value, yet they still have a (higher) kill value.

Why is this? Something in the rulebook?

That would make sense.... I would imagine that being in certain types of cover could / should give an armour save. Such as being in a pillbox should not only make you harder to shoot but should also offer additional bonuses than merely being in a corn feild....

Another question since all dice that don't roll 1 count towards suppression it appears very easy to suppress an enemy, given the bonus dice of MGs etc
 
Depends on how many people you have shooting.

But yes, it's pretty predictable when you'll suppress someone, or when you'll be suppressed. So plan ahead.
