Stock problems at Hobbybox are....RESOLVED!

The Hobbybox

Mongoose
All,
Just wanted to say thanks for Matt, Alex and Russell for all the help in getting the stock problems sorted out, I now have at least 1 of most things in stock. I have LOTS of Gaim, EA and for some reason Sharlins!! :?

Stock quantities on the website are correct so all items should be available for immediate dispatch.

I'll be taking all the stuff to Reading (Warfare gaming show) this weekend so quantities may be inaccurate over the weekend, but I'll adjust them early next week.

Any orders received before Friday I'll pull from stock before I pack for the show so you'll get them asap.

If anyone would like to preorder anything for collection at the show then please email me on info@thehobbybox.biz

The B5 section of my website can be found here:
http://www.thehobbybox.biz/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=739&strPageHistory=cat

I've had one report of someone having problems with the Paypal link on the site, so it's worth mentioning that if you get problems it may be down to the following things:

1. Security settings on your PC being too high.
2. You've forgotten your Paypal password (if you have an account). Incorrect password will cause you to drop out of the order process. It's a security feature designed to defeat people who are trying to guess a password with multiple tries.

If anyone does have a problem ordering then please email me.

Is there any word on how soon you'll be getting the Psi Corps and/or the templates and tokens?

Templates and tokens are now on website too. I'll be picking them up this weekend so they will be available for despatch next week.

Iain, I checked out your website--good selection!
I was a little confused about two things. The FAQ says you ship worldwide free on orders over 20 pounds (not sure I have the British money sign on my keyboard, sorry!), 'for more info click here.'

But when you click there there's a whole chart of shipping costs based on package value. Since I live in the US, it would definitely be worth my time to order more than 20 pounds (about $41?) if shipping was free. But then the other chart seems to imply that it would be about $8 US for a $40 order. Which information is right?

Also, the front page says ACTA stuff is 10% off. Do the listed prices include the 10%, or is it 20% of the prices listed on the website?

Thanks!

The FAQ page would be a mistake from the frequently dumb me!

FAQ has now been amended.

The prices shown are the price you pay, discount has already been taken off.

Thanks Rabid,
Nice pics on your site too, especially the 'Awesome shot dudes' pic of all the SST Marauders.
How much Firepower does one guy need!???

I'm glad the Hobbybox got everything in. You wouldn't happen to have an US Store, would you?

I just spoke to my LGS yesterday, he states that ACD and Alliance distributors are both out of stock of pretty much everything in Mongoose Publishing. Still.

The last that I heard was that my order (placed in mid-Oct) will be in by January... I hope that means January 2008.

thats right, keep up the positive thoughts ;-)

I did. I lost my frisbee and wanted a replacement from online rather than going to the store.

I don't actually know, I just keep hoping someone will get us American players some information on when our stores might be getting a re-stock.

Entering month number three for a Centauri box and month number 2 for a Poseidon, Hyperion, Dag'Kar, Orion starbase, etc.

From what I hear, I might get two promotions at work before I get any reliable stock from my LGS. What do I do? Honor buying at my LGS and waiting for forever while my stuff may or may not come in, or look online for people who are getting taken care of, pay the extra shipping, and have it sent to me?

Seriously. Why is this considered "okay" to wait this long? I clearly remember multiple times in the past where officials told us just to e-mail a particular individual to get an answer, but still nothing has happened. I thank the patience of the still-hopeful future players of ACTA every time I see them for still wanting to get the ships they wanted so that they can play.

Been looking at a game system called Full Thrust with ships that could pass as EA ships for now. I especially like their carriers. Maybe that would be an easier alternative that being told nothing on when the ships you want are going to come in.

I think Stryker hasn't got pwned by me in a while. He's getting a backbone again.

Trolls for the win!!

anyhow, either A) e-mail Alex, he's in the US and might be able to help sort you out as it is just not acceptable, or
B) demand a refund and use the money for something else.

haha!!

I actually know who bought the little frisbee :P :P :P

But it wasn´t me, it is my coming enemy, the evil experiment conducting Vree playing friend of mine :D
