I just bought the book, I am looking at using it as the basis of an Iron Kingdoms just to see it in action.
I have areas with gnomes and dwarves using steam power in my fantasy D&D setting already, and was the origional inspiration for picking up the book as another reference for flavour text.
Though from my (quick) read through, it appears to suit the IK setting better than the standard d20 they are using.
The only downside is I see a lot of conversions ahead to make it work.
