when can we look forward to adding more ships to the list of sheets out there. Examples such as odd Italian ships, German armed Frieghters,
French Destroyers and Tbs. Theres alot of ships out there without statts.

Question, Vas 301 and others give rules for Depth Chargers on sheet but dont list any which is correct? do they have or not have?

If there is no difference of ships of the same type let me know such as Torpedo Boats.

This covers the Italians and a good start.

thanks Ray :D

Another option would be to release the statting system you use.
While some are obvious (Crew, Speed, Damage under 30kT displacement, and Turrets, excluding range) others are not (Turning, Armor, Secondary and AA, Damage above 30kT displacement). Aircraft I haven't even looked at.

I am sure there would be a host of unofficial ships in no time.

The first ship missing from AoD that comes up in an historical scenario is the German Wittlesbach class. Looks very close to the Braunschwiegs from what I see in Jane's WW1 ships, but wondered if anyone else had done up this class yet. Just about the only thing needed for the Heligoland 1914 scenario I found that isnt already available.

Tom Oxley

On reviewing the First Heligoland battle, I dont see the Wittlesbach class on the list. I'm beginning to wonder why I bought them, but I have them now and would like to be able to play them, anyway. They are listed as an improved Kaiser Freidrich III and the step before the Braunschweigs, so I'll take a look at those two and see if I can't put something together to get them on the table.

Oh no my list of WWII ships needing stats is getting bigger. What am I to do when I cant get any answers? I know DM is overwelmed at this time so we are looking to see if anyone else can help out with this.

DM if you could stats this:

Sea plane tender GIUSEPPE MIRAGLIA

I would be thankful since I am having one built from Scratch in the WAS 1/1800 scale to use in play.

The AA formula is fairly obvious, and I think I have broken down the secondaries.

I reworked all the hull points, and beefed up a little. Statistically in WWII if you look at the amount of damage ships could absorb, some of the ships tend to be a little weak.

My formula is 1 point for 1000 tons Full Load, 1 point for each 100 foot of compartmentalized warship (would not apply to civilian frieghter and even some military transport vessels where the compatrmentalization was minimal.

US Fletcher DD ends up being 6 Damage. Which gives it at least the posibility of absorbing a hit.

Forgot to add - I've done most of the Italian stats requested above. There are a handful to do (I hope) this evening or tomorrow morning
