Fraid Im not as impressed with the Minbari one, it just looks a bit too obvious where the bits are from and not enough like a seperate station).

Yeah I thought so too...but I wasn't willing to buy pieces for it. Even so, I wouldn't know what pieces to buy. I traded for the Eldar wings thinking they'd do the trick. I'm hoping it will fall into line once painted. Maybe the addition of the docked FA Sharlin would help?

Paint them up and send an article into Signs & Portents!

If I can get them painted in a timely manner I will. However if you're looking for a 'How to' guide, I didn't take any pictures during assembly

where'd the cgi shots come from?

PS they look good unpainted, i cant wait to see them with some paint on.
Does anyone know if theres plans for a babylon 4 model, as you could use it quite a bit where it keeps on cropping up in different times and places.

I realized the EA station pics didn't show the defense turret:

I plan on adding some more turrets in the right places...anyone guess where that brown, green and steel colored connecting piece came from?

Progress on the Norgath continues...attached is my FA Sharlin (about the only thing FA scale is good for

). Priming to follow...hopefully the paint will pull the project together. I'm still not sure how it will end up...

Same sort of execution on my EA station (I'll call it Station Damocles ) once the Nova and Hyperions arrive...if ever.

your conversions are awsome. I really do like them. the minbari would look better when painted even eldar stations look ugly till there painted. you could add a few wings on the bottom of the station but small ones. just a idea.

Just an idea but you may be able to get some plastic stuff for fish tanks (brace's for things being thrown) that looks good on the Minbari station. I mean the ships themselves are a little like coral and a little like angel fish (really nasty angel fish...).

If you have somewhere that sells the stuff go and have a look.

if someone from mongoose is watching/listening, i hink there should be a bablyon 4 model as an earth/minbari space ship (depending on dates)

Babylon 4 would only be available to the EA for a few months at best...

You know, if I ever get my hands on some FA scale Hyperions and such I have a feeling I'll be using them as docked ships...

Quick update - FA Hyperions added. Once I get my hands on a Nova/Omega, I'll attach it to the end (the engine portion of the Explorer):

The minis are/will be removeable, in the event I ever decide to use FA minis in a game.

Minbari station primed and being basecoated. Not enough time!

Lots of effort going into those. Can't wait to see them in action. Speaking of which, we need to pump for the next campaign...maybe we can make a base one of the strategic targets, give us a reason to put it out there.

It's actually quite stable. If anything, all that weight helps keep it balanced.
