Some pics of my recent projects.

First up is my attempt at Norgrath Minbari Space Station...used some leftover bitz I had laying around:

The Sharlin is way too big in comparison but:

My plan for it is to attach an FA scale Sharlin to one of the smaller spokes. I doubt I'd ever use it but who knows. I just hope the Sharlin addition doesn't cause it to tip over!

Next up is my version of an EA station...outpost? Supply depot? I used these pics for my inspiration:

The plan here is to add some FA Hyperions as if docked (probably to the small struts attached to the large vertical section) as well as a FA Nova or Omega to what use to be the Explorer engine nozzles. They look enough like docking rings I think...

I'm waiting for my FA 'fleet' to arrive so I can dock them...suggestions or comments?

i dont have any suggestions but i just wanted to say that they look great. Theyll certainly standout. Youve certainly been very creative. I was just wondering where you got the cgi images from. Keep up the good customations, who knows MGP may even decide to mass construct a similar thig, itd be great if they did.

Indeed that's a Trek Federation Starbase turned upside down...gotta use what I have sitting around!

Also, parts of the EA station are from a trek miniature too...cargo hauler or something like that.

Love the EA station. Not so sure about the Minbari station but then again I think Minbari ships are ugly so that might just be carrying over.

Yeah Minbari stuff is harder to recreate - all the organic shapes in their designs. EA stuff on the other hand...industrial is all you need. Now if only those FA ships from AoG would arrive

I am having the same problem. It's not even the waiting that is a problem... but I sent an email RIGHT after I bought them (with in minutes of getting the PayPal receit) and told him anout my address change... yet I have heard nothing.

Keep in mind this was January 25th... :?

I thought AoG went out of business in 2002. Can you still buy stuff from them?

Love the EA one, very very nice. Fraid Im not as impressed with the Minbari one, it just looks a bit too obvious where the bits are from and not enough like a seperate station). Im sure I'll eat those words once its painted to your usual standards
