Stat Increases

Okay, the rules say I can take 2x, 5x, or 10x as long for a 20%, 40%, or 60% bonus on my tests, respectively. Can I apply this to my attempts to increase a stat? I rolled a natural 18 in the game for strength, and if I want to get up to a 21 (both the max AND the requirement for me to do more damage) I'm going to have to roll very, very well. While I'm not looking forward to taking 100 days to increase my strength, I'm willing to if need be.

I am,
Joseph

I don't think it is intended you can do this.

The bonus for taking extra time to increase stats is for skill tests. Experience (skill increases and stat increases) are not skill checks, so I wouldn't allow applying the same modifier.

You will be much better served increasing your main skills to up around 80-90% than throwing rolls at STR. It won't do much for you unless you are on the threshold for a Damage Modifier increase or something like that - in which case you may want to look at learning the Strength spell.

Integrating an Earth rune is a possibility too (though you may want to wait until your STR is 20 before doing that).

As the rules speak of spending improvement rolls and not a precise time of training, I don't know how you would do this.
If it wasn't for that, I would allow it, as making ten rolls or one roll at +60% is pretty equivalent.
