Although mine may not properly be called stop motion, it sort of works like that. It was my humor running rampant last year. I'll dig you up the link to have a look-see-

Uh, I have no clue how to fix my link to photobucket so the password thing doesnt show up..
In order for me to get the stop motion going, I have to go over to my friend's house n pick up all my stuff..(I leave it there cause thats where we play)
Oh, and for the types of stop motion I'll be making, there will be humoris and coolness ones (the next one I'm making will be photedited so ther'll be things like bullets n' stuff)
My next project will be a miniatures version of the first movie after the drop when they shoot nukes at plasma bugs. The only problem here is I have to use paint to create the explosion :lol:
I like the "arachnid humor" :lol: Nice bug paintjob... Much better than mine. Oh, one more thing- Expect pictures of all my new stuff soon! (Arachnid warrior swar leader, king tanker, gaurd bugs, hopper reinforcments, herald the brain bug's new friend frank, and more)

Did you check out another new member of the forums here that goes by "MTM"? His atomic mushroom cloud is very well done. His creation inspired me to do one for myself. We both used "Great Stuff" canned insulation foam. You might look at that thread for some ideas for your movie "special effects". You might even make up a series of stepped versions that show the cloud growing as it explodes, although that would be more effort. Still, it would be a really great effect that you could recycle over and over. Here is a link to his effort- Enjoy!
