I'm not big on SFB/FC so, what's a TK5?

From Communique #27: THOLIAN TK5 FRIGATE EXILE
During one of the many Klingon raids into Tholian space, a Klingon F5 frigate was badly damaged. The crew escaped in the separated boom section, but the self-destruct system for the rear hull failed to function. The Tholians, always desperately short of new ships, took the rear hull into their shipyard and converted it (with the addition of sections of a PC hull) into a powerful ship which served in their fleet for many years.

So will it be a 'one of' or is it a fleet unit?

In SFB history, it was a one-of ship. In a free campaign, you can build as many as you can, but you have to find & capture a Klingon F5 first for each one. The Thoilians have no way of building the aft section.

or the lazy tholians just reverse engineered the design and built a bunch, they keeped em hidden until ACTA came along.

Liking this ship a lot, definitely got to get me one of these when it appears.

But too young to remember what a Chig ships looks like.......... or maybe its too old, always getting those two mixed up.
