one thing i do like is the differant name for the WS variant ships. the gunship for example is called a sinclair class light cruiser.

on the shadowstar idea - well effectively shadow weapons would be the same effetiveness anyway/ molecular slicer is same as INL and the shadow scouts phasing pulse cannon is very similar to molecular pulsars (although SAP instead of AP).

That´s right, but please note that the mod with it´s Sinclair class has been in existence YEARS before Mongoose ever thought about the gunship, yet the designs are eerily similar - coincidence?

well in the game it wa sa drakh design in the shadow fleet. the drakh only turn up with the centauri.

Anyone have a copy of Armada ii they'd be willing to part w/ or know where you can find an affordable copy?? Looking around and can only find ASTRONOMICALLY priced ones out there...like 75 bucks!!

My version is European and won't play on USA machines (damn user prohibitions,media cartels).
However it might interest you to know, that StarTrek Armada 2 has no copy protection.
Once u don't play it online you wouldn't have a problem.
