Stargate ACTA conversion

Mongoose
Hi everyone!

I worked together with some other gamers (Tolwyn and Lone Gunman) on a Stargate fan conversion for ACTA. We have finished it now and want to present it to the MGP community.

The conversion contains the Earth (aka Tau'ri), the Gua'uld (a General Fleet List, Early Fleet List and Fleet Lists for System Lords Apophis, Anubis and Ba'al), the Asgard, Ori and the Wraith

I also finished some counters for all of the races. You can find them here.

You can download the PDF on my 4shared.com account by clicking on the link above or clicking on this amazing picture

Hope you like it, have fun!

PS: Please do not post any links to other mini distributors in order to avoid the deletion of this topic!

wow if its anything like the cover it should be amazing - thanks been wanting to do this for ages :) 8) :D

And me with the Deadilus just painted up - superb 8)

downloading 8) (on dial up !!!)

LOL
like minds and all that, i uploaded my stargate acta conversion to the mongoose mods yahoo group approx 2 weeks ago.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mongoose_mods/

It includes Tauri, go'uald/tok'ra, free jaffa, wraith, ori, replicator, asgard, ancient fleets.

The stats probably need a hefty playtesting and adjustment, im gonna go compare yours to mine and see what cool stuff you came up with that i can add in my games :-)

feel free to do the same ofc.

im definately gonna appreciate your counters :-)

any thoughts anyone on either conversion??

It looks really cool. :) And you have made some very nice counters. The wraith hive ship, for want of betters words, looks like a real ballbreaker!!! 38 ad in the front arc,20 flights  But I supose it is a really big ship in the show. I'd be tempted to bump it up to war.

can anyone PM me a link to somewhere I can get hold of any appropriate minaiatures for SG-1 Space combat, I used to know one but the site seems to have vanished (may have gotten whomped by MGM I'm guessing....)

Myrmidon? ;)

hehe, yeah I must admit the thought did cross my mind ;)

Have had a look through it now anyway and looks nice, how the ships actually far in terms of play remains to be seen of course but I'll definitely give it a go sometime :)

Yeah I noticed that dice score as well - of course unlike eveyone else no shields so they are going to take a pounding from ships - as in the show :)

Might have bumped up the Earth Cruisers a level as their Asgardian Shields seem to be significantly better than equivalent Gouald ships?

The Goauld's major strength are their number in fighters and the Alkesh Bomber, who could pose threat when used in numbers.

We would appreciate any comments and game reports concerning the different races so the overall balancing could be improved.

Here it is - painted very nicely by Shadow Queen and photographed badly by me :)

Hi everyone!

Thanks for the nice replies! We decided to put the USS Odyssey to War Level and I corrected the double Aurora (page 7). The new PDF is now ready to download.

PS: 80 new downloads since presenting on this board :D THX!
