Starfury painting advice

Mongoose
Howdy everybody, I've just got a quick question is for the painters in the forums, whomever's left, anyways.

I'm currently painting up some of my EA Starfuries. However, I find myself at a dead end as to how to do the cockpit glass. Black? Blue? Grey? arrrrrrrrrrrrgh! So, if anybody could come up with some advice, or tips, or a walkthrough on how you did your Starfuries/Thunderbolts, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I used black, it contrasted to grey quite well.... just remember to paint the rear cockpit on the Badgers... so you can tell them apart from the Aurora's without having to look to closely.

I don't have any Mongoose Starfuries, but if I did, I'd be inclined to paint the cockpits dark red. The "real" ones had red lighting inside the cockpit.

I used boltgun metal for all the cockpit screens on my fighters. Trust me, it looks better than it sounds.

Why would you paint the cockpits

But if i were to i would paint them blue. A dark blue and then gloss varnish it for the shine.
