No, ADB's Starline 2400 Squadron Boxes are 1/3788th scale where Mongooses are a bit larger at 1/3125th scale. Both work just fine but if you mix them it is obvious they are two different sizes.
As a general rule, I believe the Starline 2500s are about a third bigger. You can see some comparisons here:
These pictures show the old Starline 2400s in metal and the resin 2500s. Note that the resin 2500s are no longer in production, but the newer ones are in metal and are the same size.
You can also see the other 3d renderings of the various minis in the Starline 2500 line here:
Sorry to keep bothering you guys about this I'm new to this and just searching online for minis' for it i know you said the starline are different size's but what about the amarillo ship pack's Star Fleet Battles: Federation Fleet Miniatures Box #4 how do they fare, against the mongoose acta ships ??
Meliadus - No problem we want to make sure you enjoy what you get.
Rule of thumb look at the SKU or Product Code Number. if it starts with ADB #### then it is most likely a Star line 2400 or even 2300 series kit. if it starts MGP #### then it is a Starline 2500 kit designed to go with A Call to Arms.
.
Being as shipping from the US to Scotland is likely to be prohibitive, you probably ought to look at Mongoose or some other distributor who ships to the UK.
