Standard of living discrepancy: core vs. supply catalog

Could someone reconcile the difference between the standard of living costs table on page 87 of the core rule book, and the similar table in the supply catalog book (I don't know which page).

Ah ... inflation ? :shock:

No, seriously, I have no explanation - just assume that the newer one
(Central Supply Catalogue) is right, or choose the one you like better,
or write a third one - different planets with different technology levels
will have different wages and prices anyway.

I think all three of those answers is pretty much correct.
