[SST] New Fansite - Is there still enough support?

If we have 25 members that post that they are interested in such a site and I'll continue my initial work for it.

Rough draft outline:

i would love to see a website for us, with the new movie coming out soon, people new to the series may be drawn in as well.
 
once summer is over and back in full swing of wargaming again il be interested... and contributing.

in summer i dont do alot of indoor hobby and with the wait for new rules gaming has been on a pause as well

Very Interested

But still trying to finish some armies...
 
I've had models for about a year and a half, and FINALLY got my friends into the game. Sounds like we're gonna have anywhere from 3 to 6 people in our wargame group. I can guarentee we would all appreciate a fan site!

But it's not as comprehensive as the above and there is some bad blood amongst some members and Mongoose preventing it from being all it can be.

Is this other website up and running?

As for Mongoose and SICON, I could care less. That's between them. They can fight thier own battles. I would expect both parties to be a bit mature and above the "your with me or against me" thing.
 
Wow, aint posted here in a while, when did we loose the independant SST forum anyways?


Back to the point, ive still got myu ary and I'd lvet se a fan site for the game, hvnt had enough chance to crack out the little guys and eat some MI in a long time. (The whole Battlefeil Evo Vs SST stung me a bit at the time... still does but nvm)

He already has it set up. I didn't realize he was talking about EvoCommand.

No I'm talking about a version of evocommand dedicated solely to SST.

Oh dang it, Man. I only try to screw up once a year and now you've gone and made me boo-boo twice.
 
Hey guys new person here, I think the site would be cool. I downloaded the playtestrules and am going to read them. I know there rewriting the rules and thye have one or 2 of the giant starterboxes at my lgs I thought of buying. Is this a good idea? Will the models be useable in the new edition?

Models will be 100% compatible, but the game has been suspended so no new minis are available beyond what is already in print.

Though the starter set is really good value. Especially if it's with any discount(which I suspect it is since game is OOP). If you don't mind about trying to collect army of OOP game you won't go amiss buying them. Plenty of useful MI troopers and heaps of arachnids for fairly cheap.
