Ah, therein lies the problem. The pylons above look cool, what are they made of?

As for the stuff on the list I dont think they are getting rid of anything unless they state so. The missiles are definetley out from what matt said, and to the best of my knowledge they are not getting rid of any units, just changing rules and models a wee bit. Not sure about the pylons.

Most of the pieces are from the Pegasus Hobbies Power Plant set. The base and a few of the other pieces are from the Tehnolog kits such as Hexagon.

Thanks. I still bought the "official" bug zappers, so these could be used as heavier-duty versions of them or even as Skinnie versions.

So I pulled out all my skinnies, and while it looks like their basic design was nailed down, the execution is all over the place.

So again, why not take the opportunity to re-design them as something a little less goofy looking (the oddly shaped CGI skinnies, that is).

Call the existing Skinnies cast-off's and undesirables, exiled to the Skinnie frontier to face the unknowns of the humans and the arachnids, while the bulk of the Skinnie Hegemony sits back and watches to gauge a proper response.

That could also explain why the current Skinnies seem so ad-hock with their technology, and characteristics. And you could chalk up the inconsistent anatomy to inbreeding and the dangers of living on the frontier without the proper equipment.

Yep, that's a bit like I would perceive them too. It reminds me of the "real" Klingons and their "Sub-Klingon" versions with human DNA, lol. Every family or species must have its "black sheep". It's a universal law, it seems. :lol:

One idea to bat about for new metal sculpts.

Have a look at the West Wind seperate head system stuff (just check their site). Would having a sprue of seperate heads (some open face, some with rebreather, some with shades, etc) and pluggin them into your lami or jungle armour PAMI be a worthwhile idea? You can then have a lieutenant head, a SICON operative in PAMI head, a heavy weapons head, etc.

Worthwhile idea or far too late to consider?
