Space Command

I've been looking at the slowly evolving "Space Command" movie on Kick Start. Its a project being done by people who had been connected to Star Trek and various other things and is supposed to harken back to older shows like "Tom Corbett - Space Cadet" and "Commando Cody". I think that Mongoose should approach the producers of this and suggest a Companion Game using Traveller rules.

I'd second this idea, I backed the movie on Kickstarter largely on the strength of the background and it would make a great RPG.
