I'm looking for some insight/inspiration into how a typically paranoid and defensive sorcerer might lay out defenses for their permanent abode under this system.
The majority of magic & effects etc. seem to be rather transient in nature, and meant to be that way. Permanent magic and non-sorcerous means of implementing defenses seem to be hideously expensive...
So how does one outfit a sorcerer's abode to be an actual 'safe-haven' for the fellow without spending a fortune and having to be monstrously powerful (permanent magic) already?
