Actually I'd say its not irrelevant - you clearly know its not the ease of initial input that makes for easy piracy, its easy sharing - peer to peer sharing systems are what banged up piracy levels, not items starting as a PDF, I know it (having had friends study it to see what issues there would be with the company IP a dozen years ago), many others know it but there are people in business who do believe and indeed are advised by experts that electronic forms mean their product will suddenly appear pirated everywhere and so act on that (incorrect IMO) assumption, so the business thought described by deadshane does exist, however erroneous it might be.
