I provide the location,the adventure and the DMing some munchies seem a fair way as the more loaded one give more than others but everyone provides something which is shared I also as have DMed for a long time and this came out a few years back when some DMs charged which too me was totally wrong but didnt want to be used as a doormat giving something is a way of saying thank you

lol, Prophet118 I used to live in Huntsville about 5 years ago. Spent the entire 90's there. Always thought outside our game group and one or two others the scene was dead. Ya'll still getting games via Book Villa (or Book Mark whatever it's called now)?

Still know a few folks that're kicking it around there...

yeh, Book Mark is definately the place to go, although The Deep is a fairly good place to buy comics, cards, and some books.

the scene tends to be a bit dead, especially for stuff like vampire..lol

we just cant seem to get a LARP going for more than a few sessions, which is obnoxious

to be quite honest (as ive said before) ive only run one game of Slaine, ive never managed to play it, or run anything more..

my players felt it was evil to deal with ritual sacrifices (i mean evil as in satanic in ways)

so i cant really push the issue much, ya know?

being a christian the sacrifices gave me some thoughts but the group want too play naked warriors full of insults and a strong distrust of magic is in the PCs as they dont know who is next for the knife.the sacrifices are in my game npcs and their nastyness shows the party what not too do or become after all the drunes are the evil most fear when in comes too magic once men now insane animals the cost is always too high

id always wanted to toss the preserver/defiler rules from Dark sun into slaine..lmao

do not need too 8) the fact that mess with sacrifice you will be burned is a theme running in the campain too great effect.the fact that I was a cthulhu GM for 10 years means that most npc magicans are normally played very warped and as no longer human maybe the courupton rules from conan would work better.

well, yeh.. but when i try to get the concept of magic across to most people, they immediately turn it down when i mention anything about sacrifices..lol

so effectively if we played, there wouldnt be a druid and a witch class for pcs..lol

the group play tribal warriors and some times noble warriors the thief is thought of as one of there own ie a professional and not a witch or druid

im going to be moving all the files over to my personal webspace, my mom may end up moving out of her apartment, and into the country, so she may have to change isp's..lmao... so darn, no more using her space

I usually use the same idears as far as magiks are concerned and that the more sacrifices the Druid/Witch does, they can become addicted to the submission of power/energy that the host to be sacrificed is giving them. I was keen on running a new Slaine game and then my group took a total 180 and chose to play the latest resource based Marvel Universe Rpg.

All I can hope is that they want a change after awhile and I can run Slaine. I really really want to run a new campaign of this, but man getting some players. Oh well like I said maybe they will want to play half-naked men in kilts tossin' insults every which way wilst the smell of death mixed with a crimson spray as moist earth is wrought upon them from their toss and tumble skirmishes?

BTW, I bought the new Marvel RPG and I think it's a good system to take a break in between two large campaings. I agree that Slaine is ultimately more fulfilling, though. But I'm just preaching to a bunch of "devout slainers", so I'll do my converting elsewhere, then. :roll:

Yes, Redlaco your are right I noticed my bad and changed it. And yes I meant 180. I think it is a great system as well but man Slaine is sooooo good!
