now that is brilliant and I have some questions old boy know landscapes are your thing but was wondering if ruins, forts and most of all standing stones would be possible.20by 30 is a fine size but a question on the price is it in dollars.pounds sterling or what?

thinking about it the type of scenes I would be intrested in would be

standing stones with a beautiful sunrise/set
sinster ruins in moonlight with mist
ruined chapel by a still lake in moonlight or dawn
barrowmound with mist flowing from the barrow

this list is in no way complete but would only be possible too buy one image every month or so do too time of year ie subscription too signs and holidays coming up :D

haha, well if you buy from deviant art, you can pay by credit/debit, check (i think) and paypal, basically DA will convert the money..lol

that price i listed was in us dollars though

i can do ruins, some forts, and standing stones... (unless it needs to be tabletop mountain like things)..

it will take longer to put those in honestly, but should be able to be done

hopefully when terragen version 2 comes out, it will allow for importing 3d objects, so i can render stuff with 3d imported things (buildings and such)... right now doing something of that nature wouldnt look good.. because terragen would try to render it as part of the landscape..

of course, as a ruins, making it part of the terrain isnt bad

been thinking again old boy and maybe it would be worth asking the guys at yahoo slaine if anyone has a comission or two

might just be..lol

oh, and im working on a second version of the previous picture i showed you guys... which will soon be uploaded.... same kind of style as the previous

the second image from this set is
http://www.deviantart.com/view/8433894/

im going to be working on some ruins today.. my problem, is that by definaition, adding just about anything on a terragen picture makes it hard to reproduce it at a larger scale... ya know?

because basically you have to re add it to the large size

Yeah those are great, really captures the feel of Slaine great job! Would be cool if you could do images of key areas from the Tir Nan Og book! giving a realistic image of forts and what not but actual key elements that are described now that would be cool!!

hehe, well to do any sort of structure (without free handing it, which i suck at, unless i do it on the computer, which i need a drawing tablet for), id need to get something like maya or 3d studio max... i havent found any dirt cheap copies of those pograms yet... haha

well... my thread..lol

just an update.. come discuss any game you like at the DM's Round Table... ive had this forum for a while now (couple years), but i havent felt like "pimping" it out too often

basically the point behind it for me for, or any other dms/gms/sts to come and rant, discuss, and bug each other..

which in the end usually means that someone shows up every so often to post something, but its generally just me

Wow! Toss some mist in there and I could just see Formorian Assassins just breaking the surface of the water with their heads to scan the scenery before making their way onto land to kill some Cheiftain.

Very Cool!

as an update, i have acquired Cinema 4D... its a 3d program along the lines of maya or 3d studio max... now all i have to do, is learn the silly thing
