Well, this escalated quickly.

I'm reading the sample and though I'm going to do the ships this weekend, the design for the Crew Android looked off to me so I built it. It is indeed off. I'm sure @Geir can tell me if I'm wrong, but I'll plow ahead anyway.

Here is my build of the Crew Android as presented in the book.





It says it is INT 11, but it can't match the skill levels without running out of bandwidth. It needs an Intelect Upgrade to hit the INT12 threshold for the skill levels to work. It seems to be lacking a wireless data link and that is...

Just to be clear, the range is in kilometers? Otherwise, with Blast 20, the user are always damaged whenever this is fired.

Is this a typo? "Reduces jump time by 6D hours to a minimum of 242" is strange when a week is only 168 hours

I figured this was from the June thread, so it was the right place. No worries.

Not necessarily a mistake, but on Page 4 of Knightly Orders, second paragraph:

Some knights have taken the rather distasteful step of marketing their logos, selling them on clothing, holocrons, embroidery on caps and counterfeit finery that resembles the garb of the knight themselves.

(Emphasis mine)

Is that term actually correct? I've never ran into it before in a Traveller context. That aside, I do think the term might be a trademark held by Disney, so... better tread carefully.

A further note, this time an actual mistake I think:


In the above table, the observations are both using the same icon. I'd suggest either changing the first one to a '*', or changing the second one (the one listing the Inter-species orders) to a '‡'.
