Essentially, twenty two long rifle.
Carbine barrel gets you nothing, except a slightly cheaper barrel, and minus one on damage.
It's an interesting question as to reconfiguring the Clash/Ten into either a marksman or light machine gun variant, only in the sense that it makes life easier for the quartermaster and the armourer.
That was one reason why I thought, within Traveller game mechanics, the snub submachine gun would still be viable for close quarters.
