Hi there; I was just wondering how long approximately it takes to ship
the books when ordering directly from mongoose?( I live in Canada)

Baring Volcanoes I get my LW books from the UK (I live in OZ) in about 2 weeks (3 on the outside), I think North American customers thanks to NAFTA have theirs shipped from the US, I recall a Canadian poster said about a week to ten days and a US Ex-Pat living in Mexico said about the same.

Canadian customer here. I ordered on July 22 and the first 13 books arrived in about 2 weeks.

I ordered a book a couple weeks ago and I'm in the US. Yet, I lucked out because they have a warehouse just south of me, so I got my book in two days.

While I'm on the subject...

I had my local retailer order me a book, but they say it's not in stock. It would be the Lone Wolf Multiplayer Gamebook. I'm not sure if they didn't order it or if it's backordered. I want to support my local shop, but not at the expense of customer service. If anyone can confirm or deny the backlog, then I'll either wait or just order direct from Mongoose.
