The 'Ships with Benefits' sidebar mentions that if a character has rolled a ship and does not use that to start with the ship, each time it is rolled can be traded in for a Cr25000 pension, representing part ownership in the ship being run somewhere else. Right now, there is nothing exempting the Scout ship benefit from this, even though the scout ship benefit represents the service giving the character the scout ship on retainer.
Does this need to be changed, or should it just be assumed for simplicity that if the character doesn't take the scout ship, the service offers them the yearly pension to keep themselves on retainer?
