Only change values in grey cells. Start with TL top left. Columns are added together at the top, green good and red bad. Empty space is allocated to Cargo.

Tech Advantages are input as numbers between -2 to +3 with 0 being Standard, -0.5 Budget. You get as good a advantage as can be achieved at the given TL, so you might not get exactly what you asked for. Only a few advantages are supported.

You should be able to get more Weapon and Screen rows by copying an entire row and inserting a new row. You can get more Mixed Turrets by inserting 4 new rows and copying the existing 4 rows.

If you need more rows insert entire rows, not just a few cells.

Red numbers means something is wrong...

If I enter 6 armour, the HULL type changes from Light to Standard?

I assume that if you want Armour 6+ you want the hull points to survive combat. You can override this in cell C6; 1=Light, 2=Standard, 3=Reinforced.
