Shadow Experience

Da Boss

Mongoose
A proposal for a bit of variety and to make them that little bit more like they act in the show:

the experience table becomes 2-12 - with 1 becoming 2 and so on and adding:

8 What do you want?: This ship has been used to transport a minion who gathers valuable intelligence on the activities of the other fleets, granting you a +2 bonus to your Initiative for the next Campaign Turn.
9 Mother knows best: Up to two on board flights of fighters may increase their Dogfight score by +1.
10 Master Manipulators: Launching a lightning strike, the ship strikes at the heart of an enemy, causing him to draw ships away from his main force. Choose another player’s fleet. In its next battle, it will have one less Fleet Allocation Points available.
11 The Corps is our Friend: The ship receives a telepathic pilot which enables it to better resist attacks by other telepaths, this ship may no longer be jammed.
12 Minions: An inquisitive ship uncovers more than it bargained for and those crew that survive now serve the Shadows. You may immediately add any one ship of your choice of Skirmish or lower Priority Level to your fleet roster. This ship may be chosen from Earth Alliance, Narn, Centauri, Raiders or League fleet lists and may come from a fleet that your are currently fighting against in the campaign.

These are pretty cool, most in keeping with the show! More an "other duties" table than a refit though...

Excellent. Simply excellent.

I think the Corps is friend one should have more of an effect though. All ships within a certain distance of the ship are immune from jamming. Say 12"

thanks for the response - thought about making two tables but couldn't think of enough cool ideas in short time - though I think it shows there is plenty of scope for Vorlon ands Shadows expereince expansion in 2nd Ed?

Just remember that a 2D6 skews the probability of results so 2 and 12 are the most unlikely and 7 is the most likely.

Well I started out writting a whole set of rules for Vorlons and shadows whereby they were not normal campaign forces and had to try and manipulate the other races as per the show but in the end didnt get round to implementing that. We did have our shadow player wandering round asking everyone 'what do you want?' and lending them a hand in various games :P
