answered in the other thread, but i'm good to use the Avioki. or at least I am good to have the choice to use the avioki :-). Also see the avioki varient in the other thread (1st draft)
 
Can we get a summary please?

Whats allowed as it stands?

5 pt raid? 5 Pt Skirmish? 1 Pt Arm?

If I come I'll be bringing EA early years (I favour 5 pt Raid).
 
I quite like the idea of doubling up vs. Dilgar, i.e. 2 x 5pt Skimish fleets vs. equivalent Dilgar fleet.

EDIT: Also I quite like the idea of Admirals and a campaign element so don't assume everyone else hates that part! :)

Sometime soon..oh you meant when ..It’s the Dilgar War so only ships before -2233
With some other ships we’ll list later

What Will I need?
A painted 5pt Raid fleet or counters
A copy of your fleet list
A data sheet for each of your ships for each game http://www4.webng.com/chburger/2e/
A copy of the Call to arms rule book
Tape measure and dice
£5 entrance fee


Tournament Format

There will be a total of 4 games played at 5pt Raid level on the day, with a
45 min break for lunch. The timetable is as follows:

10:00 to 10:30 Registration
10:30 to 12:00 Game 1 Space Superiority
12:00 to 12:45 Lunch
12:45 to 14:15 Game 2 Annihilation
14:15 to 15:45 Game 3 Assassination
15:45 to 17:15 Game 4 Annihilation
17:15 to 17:30 Awards

All scenarios are played as per the A call to arms scenario specific rules

Tournament Points
VP difference 0 10/10 draw
VP difference 1-5 13/7
VP difference 6-10 17/3
VP difference 11+ 20/0


Players should also keep
a record of ships lost in each of their
games. In the circumstance of a tie
ships lost, will be decisive.

Fleet Listing

The Tournament is based during the Dilgar War of circa 2230-2233 this means that
only ships prior to 2233 maybe included* (*some exceptions/limitations)

Sorting by service date.

The following Races are allowed in the Tournament;

Forces of Liberation

Mixed League (LONAW), any league world with exception of Gaim (NO Gaim
ships at all)
Early era EA (Inc Avenger*)
Any mix of the above i.e. LONAW and EA or one league race and EA
Markab fleet listing and rules upon request.
All Liberation fleets are limited to a maximum of 2 Sagittarius* ships
Please note only Tiger and Nova Star furies maybe taken. They need
to be distinguished before the games and indicated on your ship/fleet roster.

Dilgar Imperium
The whole range of Dilgar ships is available.
Raider fleet for Da Boss (only)

If you want a definitive list of available ships please PM TGT on the MGP forum.
These are listed in an xls. format and also link to Burgers ship sheets

We would hope that all ships (not fighters) be represented as they have been
designated by MGP. All counter fleets will be poorly received. With prior notification
the Sentient Rabbits can provide ships upon request.

Just clarifying - that means you could have?

a. 4pt LONAW + 1pt Early Era EA allies
b. 4pt Early Era EA + 1pt of ONE league race

Cool...my LONAW fleet might just get itself some EA support :)
 
do we need a ship limit ? say 12 ships?
i'm also thinking of not mixing EA into fleets that are predominantly league
i mean LONAW fleets can take FAPs of otehr races so maybe extending a 1 FAP limit to single race fleets might be a better idea
I was hoping to have single races w/o allies but i guess people will take EA as either int sinks or 2 saggs..hemmmm will have a think...
 
ship limits help, might not please burger with his planned 53 ship list of drazi and 2 fors from the ea ;-)

as for allied ships, I definately want them. I would love to field an all Brakiri fleet, but it's not easy to make a competitive fleet fromthe ISD's and the Avioki. the Abbai likewise definately suffer from this, and the poor Pak.
 
I would say 12. "should" in theory help speed up battles too. of course this is your game, and you make the big decisions!! ;-)
 
12 rather than 16 for the ship limit please.

I'd also go for no EA in the LONAW fleets. Those two saggs do not make me happy.
 
yeah i am thinking most people using EA allies will have saggs so i might have to say no saggs in allied fleets...or maybe a nice suprise on the day!

no ones said anything about the 4 games rather than 3 is this ok>?
 
As much as I love mini's, they look cool and stuff. In a tourney with fleet restrictions anyway, no counters may be a tad harsh.
