Hi as we saw so many Dilgar players on saturday I wonderd if people would like a tourney based around the Dilgar War? We haven't decided on the format as yet (1pt Armg maybe too much for some players fleets as you'll see why in a second...
The Tourney would be split hopefully 8-10 places for either League (not Gaim), mixed league or EA early Era (Forces of liberation) and the same for Dilgar Imperium players (those are the bad guys..booo!).
The Dilgar list would be as is in 2nd ed
The EA early era would be as is in 2nd ed restricted to a 2 sagg max
we would do a restricted LONAW listing for all memeber races.
No Gaim
We will also be working out a Hyach and Ballosian fleet based upon AOG's Dilgar war reference book.
you will also be able to take a mixed LONAW and early EA fleet with whichever starfuries (I think Nova's) they had.
Also based upon AOG's Dilgar war reference book, and to add a bit of interest, we would also look to have 2 admirals. Admirals would
assign assets to a campaign map, adminisered by me TGT the tourney organiser.
Both admirals would also play fleets and if needed i would make up the numbers on either sides.
so we would have best admiral, 1st-3rd place, best painted, and the wooden spoooooo..n
A tourney pack will be available in a month and a half at most.
The location would be the same in Aldershot but we would try to open up a sunday rather than saturday, to ease concerns over space and also table numbers. We are provisionally looking at May.
