There are several types of sensor packages listed in the common ship designs: Basic, Civilian, Military etc.

There is also a list of Sensors on pag 151. But there is nothing that says which sensors are in which packages. Or, if all sensors are in all packages, then it should state that explicitly (within TL limits of course, NAS sensors are not going to be installed on a TL-9 ship.

"The kind of sensors a ship possesses depends on the sensor package installed (listed in the description of every ship in the Common Spacecraft chapter)."

Checked the Common ship section. They show the types of Sensor Packs and modifiers but not the actual sensors as was done in the MgT1e electronics descriptions. I have a strange feeling they are listed in High Guard but needs to be listed on the ship descriptions too as stated above. Very important information especially if you don't have HG to cross reference.

Did we ever find out if a table was left out or if the ship descriptions are missing the list?

Without knowing what the package contains the rest just seems like useless charts.

Oh and I agree, this is information that needs to be in the CRB and note something that should *only* be in HG.

Ok, I am going to dare to post twice in a row. :wink:

The Revision List states: "Sensor Types Defines for Packages"

But I can't seem to locate where the list is that tells me what kind of sensors are in a "Basic Package", or a "Civilian Package" or a "Military Package".

Now I accept I might be overlooking it, so where do I find the list? I am looking for where it tells me a Civilian Package has Visual, Thermal, Active Radar/Lidar, and Passive Radar/Lidar for example. I just must be missing it.

This seems to be one of those we knew what we meant. No ship construction in the core book which originally included the sensor information. High Guard will have that information but it's a supplement so not everyone will have it. If one only has the core book then such vital information as what sensors go with what package should be a note in either Ship Operations or Ship Combat OR on the ship stat sheet under SENSORS.
