Scouts: What do you use them for?

The most important scout ability:

  • The ability that lets me give "lock on" to a weapon of a ship.

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • I can lower the stealth rating of another ship.

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • I can reroll first turn setup (assuming I have the most scouts)

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • I can reroll first turn Init (assuming I have the most scouts)

As a Minbari I use my scouts to help every of my ship to reroll the attack dices on one target, most of the time the largest enemy ship

And most of the time I only need 1 turn to blow it out

Shadow Scouts are like catching the crabs, once you got em. They are hell to git rid of :p

Disclaimer: I have never had, or intend to get infested with lice :p

Corvans can be super pesky in large games. They can always give you rerolls and as a patrol chioce you can field enough to be initiative sinks (though I appreciate some might consider this unsporting).

Even if your enemy does try to swat them they still have the stealth to deal with.

Its not a good idea to get them in range of your enemy's secondarys though. This makes their weaponary pretty useless (apart from as a poor mans AF).
