I have finished going thru the book for the second time. The first time is a quick skimming of the contents.

I am disappointed in the Equipment and in the artwork. There was very little useable new personal gear. The tech level was higher than I would expect. I just don't see scouts running around on low tech worls with tech 14 and 15 equipment. Especially, considering that most of the Imperium would be less than that. Now, it could be that they are saving all the good equipment for the Central Supply Catalog.

The artwork was just not real looking. Especially the pictures of the different ships. The artwork is just not believable. Then there is the pictures of people. The proportions are wrong. Maybe someone is thinking of evolution and deliberately making heads bigger and arms skinnier. But I don't think so.

Maybe I am wrong, maybe not. But in my opinion, Mongoose had better improve their product quality if they want to retain their loyal customers.
