Scenario recomendations

I am looking at running a campaign using the Ralios pdf as a starting point. I figure my troupe will be most happy playing straight Orlanthi, and I figure I start with them all in the same clan.

But what to start them on. Even if it is just for a bit of inspiration, can anyone recomend any scenarios out there (free or otherwise) that would be a suitable starting point? Is the Mongoose Rune of Chaos scenario any good? I was not so impressed flicking through it and reading its basic premise.

Cheers

ah yes - but are they any good? I saw a recomendation for something from S&P called Raven in the Roost.

But what I was really wondering is if there are any old scenarios I should hunt down (i.e. RQ2 or 3) that could be suitably converted to 2nd Age.

Both "The Mad Druid" and "Tors and Tombs" are setting-independent. Tors and Tombs can be played as a Con Game or an introductory game seeming quite effectively (ime and imho), and apparently can also be easily adapted to 2A or almost any other setting.

It's not combat-heavy but gives a general intro to a variety of rules.

Now I've replied I can't see where you're based, but I'm running it at Furnace on the 20/21 October in Sheffield (UK).

The best scenario for RQ in my opinion is Apple Lane, you can still find it on ebay from time to time.

I can support that, as I have adapted it to MRQ and just completed it with a bunch of newbies. Find it and try it!

I could have sworn I had Apple Lane somewhere in my attic from way, way back. But - I could not find it. I found Snake Pipe Hollow, but no Apple Lane

Halfbat - I am in Leeds. I would love to pop down to Sheffield for the 20/21st, but it will be the only weekend in October I get with the family...
