Savage World of Sláine Deluxe

I finally got round to re-writing Savage World of Sláine to correspond with the Savage Worlds Deluxe rules.

Changes include:

• Updated edges and hindrances with the Deluxe ones
  Added some new edges and hindrances
  Fixed all (i hope) references to the SW rule book
  Added new optional rules
  Added new monsters
  Updated and balanced monsters
  Added stats for prominent characters in the comic and original game
  Added stats for magic items including the 13 treasures of Britain and the four hallows of Ireland
  Streamlined and clarified some of the rules
  Fixed powers that were unbalanced or contradicted other rules
  New weapons and armor including Leysers
  Some clarifications where I found it was needed

This is amazing, and fifty times better than the d20 Sláine of old. (No offense, MGP, I just dislike d20.) It's also probably the first time I've ever actively considered using Savage Worlds as well. Bravo!

One thing though, I don't think Slaine ever used a Iron axe.

Well sombody imformed me on the 2000AD Online Forum ( I'm still looking for the exact post.) that Slaine only uses a stone axe. On second thought I might be inclined to agree with you, but I do know for a fact that Slaine did use a stone axe right up until he shattered it ( Iron bends while stone shatters.)on the skull of a the Mata (evil Dragon) in Dragon Heist. ( 2000AD prog 367) Afterwards he was seen using the other axe with the full moon blade which does look suspicously iron like.

Do the mods have opinion on this.

Both iron and flint (stone) weapons are included in the weapon stats as well as the rules. So for an early Slaine just substitute iron axe with flint axe in the character description.

Update: Fixed a few spelling errors and such. Clarified the flint/iron axe thing.
