S&P Most Wanted List

Mongoose
Applause to Mongoose and persons involved in bringing us extra ships in S&P. I was hoping everyone could type in their three most wanted ship classes and hopefully the ship stat masters might be able to pick one or two of the most requested class each month and publish the details in S&P. This should keep us all going until the Great Book of Ships is released.

So lets hear what you want! And get on board Mongoose and help us out.

Aquila class carrier

Condottieri classes and its 5 subclasses (Di Giussano -of which della Bande Nera is a part-, Cadorna, Duca D`Aosta, Duca degli Abbruzi and Montecuccoli)

Soldati class destroyers

I would like...

Capital Ships/Carriers

Alaska Class BCs
Midway Class CVs
Independence Class CVLs
Lexington Class CVs (and perhaps a what if of the class in their planned BC build)
USS Ranger, USS Wasp
Nevada Class BBs
Tennesee Class BBs

Cruisers

Possibly Worcester class

Habbakuk(Armageddon level perhaps?)

Blimp/Zeppelin carriers, note by that I mean ships with tethered Blimps/Zeppelins which were commonly used during the war as observation&recon craft, for ASW(they carried depth charges (and maybe sonar?)) and as 'barrage balloons'.
And while youre at it, maybe you could include this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Los_Angeles_%28ZR-3%29
It was dismantled in 1939, so I suppose it fits?

Heres a list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_airships_of_the_United_States_Navy
all used by the US Navy, the K and M classes were both used for ASW, the K carrying four depth charges and sonarbouys and the M carrying... a depth charge?(it says depth charge(singular) on the wiki page but doesnt really specify, I suspect it might have carried a good bit more than one...)

Priority levels for the other ships released in this months S&P (New Mexico Class, Wickes Class, etc.) for the campaign,
DM's other fleets(Polish, Netherlands, Swedish, Argentine, etc. Already done and on his website).

Navwar late war french ship :

Gascogne, Clemenceau, Alsace Battleship;
Joffre Aircraft carrier,
St Louis Heavy cruiser,
Bayard Destroyer .

Vanguard BB
CV's with the Sea Hurricane
CV's with the Albatross
Skua's
Perhaps some what if ships that were canceled in the 20's

Maybe the theoretical Anglo-American war of 1928? (the Washington and London treateis prevented this war)

I have seen stats for most of these in the material being generated for the Supplement, so hopefully many of you will be happy.

I'd add the Japanese hypotheticals and cancelled units from the interwar period for the far more likely "Plan Orange" scenario.

Come to think of it I'd better do the Japanese hypotheticals and cancelled units from the interwar period for the far more likely "Plan Orange" scenario :)

I would like to see the

Shimakaze (I know there was only one built but...)
Ise class before and after flight deck (flight deck was next to useless but it is a nice gimick)
Sen Toku or I400 submarine (These could be a lot of fun in a campaign for deep strike raiding as they were intended)

I guess the Dido will be a down-gunned equivalent to the Atlanta class - good escort ships, though.
