After a couple of lacklustre issues, S&P is back to its usual quality. Hooray!

The LW scenario is very cool; Project Hyperion is fascinating - reminds me of FASA's original Star Trek RPG & ship combat; and even the Conan article interested me.

I gave up on it theres only new stuff no articles for the VAS games. But maybe that will change in the future.

Project Hyperion is fascinating

It's something I'd love to see picked up again....not sure in what setting, though, with the B5 license defunct.

Starting off with the ACTA mechanics and tweaking them might work well.


Other than that, you'd need some pre-scripted missions, a star system generator and something like a "D66 energy spikes that have just shown up on the sensors"* and a mission generator for some sort of quick play.


* In any star trek setting, 11-56 are of course variations on "sub-space anomaly".
