Running a Game at a Convention on 10/19/25

Mongoose
I am going to be running a Traveller game at a local gaming convention, Octacon 12 (on Long Island). I am considering running the classic adventure, Horde (1981), but I would like to hear some other suggestions.

Are they any recently published adventures for Mongoose Traveller that are suitable for a 3-4 hour time slot, don't require background knowledge and have a distinctly Science fiction feel? I don't want to do a pure corporate/political intrigue adventure.

I ran a couple of Bounty Hunts I'd written at WorlCon in Glasgow last year. Corporate Thief and Botany Hunt.

These are now in JTAS volumes 15 & 18.

If you want the plants I used for Botany Hunt contact me directly.

There was an Alan Dean Foster novel called Greenthieves where intelligent plants are stealing stuff. That would make a good adventure.
