I picked up the latest S&P last night, printed the RQ articles, slipped them into my binder, and read them in bed (as I always do).
Both pieces are great - the living magic items are a fun idea which my devious little mind could easily run with  , and the adventure was excellently written and well thought out (although having Goblins and Dark Trolls in the same adventure still seems a little...well...jarring to me!).
However, I think there's a couple of NPC errors, here.
(possible spoiler)
Firstly, the Dark Troll Grendel is listed as having "Runes of Fire and Luck", but not the Runecasting skills to go with them, nor any spells. Certainly, she could carry them around without integrating them, but I'd be surprised if she did - especially since her three henchmen are all integrated!
Secondly, the Dark Troll Salco has skills of "Runecasting (Darkness) 62%,
Runecasting (Plant) 71%, Runecasting (Harmony) 68%", but is integrated with "Equipment: Runes of Darkness, Beast and Harmony". Which is correct?
These niggles aside, an excellent adventure which fits anywhere. Thanks!
