Which of the two lasers would you use?

Yeah I was just realizing that the fact that the lasers are ready weapons really slows them down with either one or two guys. Javelins might be a good idea too. I will consider it. I need to make a trip to Bitz R Us (otherwise know as Toys R Us) on Weds night to find some cheap turrets. Will see what I can find.

I would put just the twin 50s meself. With two crewmen thats 8d6 per turn, plust reactions, and thats just for one gun

2 twin 50's as ordered, sir!

cephme, get a Platformer kit, and you can make up a nice gun tower. I made the guns for mine, but you can place something on the tower quick by using some GI Joes toys or whatever.

BuShips, that's a great looking turret and tower.

I was looking at making a gun mount with the left over autocannons from my chickenhawk, but they are pretty puny looking guns.

Thanks. I'm curious as to what the official Reliant gun will look like. Mine are based upon the movie version of course. They are close to the same scale of the MI figures, but the Mongoose version will probably be a larger and more "imposing" shape. I've heard that the Reliant platform will be loosley based on the movie tower too. It might be a peeve of mine, but I wish they hadn't referred to the twin .50's in the rules as "autocannons", as they are not them at all. Aerial (or ground) "cannons" are 20mm, 30mm, and on up, while .50 cal. weapons are 12.7mm and are technically classed as "heavy machine guns". No biggy, as .50 cals have been noted to sink small ships (like in WW2 against Japanese merchant shipping). Nasty enough for me.
