The key is to actually read it as "out between the advertised month and two months later". But this is normal - if a big company like SJG or Mongoose delays a book by more than a couple of months from the initially advertised date then something odd is going on, but at least they'll usually be forthcoming with an explanation.
And if you think this is bad, there are many examples of books by other publishers being delayed by up to or over 12 months (Heck, T5 was originally announced to be released in January 08, and now the date's set at July 15th and even then that will probably still be pushed forward). And in some cases you'll be lucky to even get an acknowledgement that there's a problem.
So there's no need to twist your knickers quite yet

Seriously, the publishing industry is full of vagaries that can result in a project being a month or two late. I've made a fair amount of money recently from rescuing projects that were nearly finished when the original writer just sort of ground to a halt.
In this industry, announcing a book several months in advance and getting to within 1-2 months of the release date is just the way things tend to pan out. Mongoose are good - they actually release what they say they will rather than talking big then allowing the project to cave in out of apathy, aversion to work or whatnot.
A few weeks' delay is sometimes inevitable. Kudos is due for delivering at all.
