The 20mm models I have seen are definetly smaller than the BF:evo models...Much more accurate would have been to say 30mm models.
25$ for 28mm vechile is still cheaper than say GW tanks. So it's not like Mongoose is asking extremely high prices for the BF:evo tanks.
25$ for 20mm would be steep price but not for 28mm tank.
Sorry, i meant to type 28 mm, not 20, but I digress:
I am not stating they are overpriced for the size. I am making a very direct statement about minis in general. If i am going to drop a sizable amount of money on a product, I expect them to be up to a certain standard. If I see that i have to repaint all the figs that get released, then having them pre-painted defeats the purpose entirely. Ultimately, it comes down to this:
If i am spending money on product A, and it isn't living up to expectations, I can just as well go spend it on products B, C, and D. I have done my fair share of trying to drum up support for this game in my location. Heck, prior to delays, We had people calling off of work ready to play on release day. Needless to say, the excitement quickly faded when we realized that we would be doing laundry and washing dishes as opposed to watching the USMC smash on the MEA.
For the fanboys - don't get on a soapbox. This isn't between you and I. This is between myself and the game developers. Sure, mistakes will happen. Models are expensive. But ultimately, criticism is what will drive the game to either be what it is supposed to be, or not. It's that simple.
