Reentering Careers/Pension.

Hello,
i would like some clarifications please:

A)As i have already been answered in a previous post, when you leave a career you can reenter it in another term except the very next.At which rank you reenter that career if you keep the same assignment? you need to qualify again for this career?do you roll for your benefits/cash the time you leave it for good, calculating extra benefits from rank that one time?

B)also i am somewhat confused about the last term before you start adventuring, does this last term count as a "full term served"?

C)you have to spend 5 full terms in a certain career to get a pension? do terms from other careers stack to calculate pension?

thank you in advance for your time!

a) Rules don't say, so whatever you think is appropriate. Personally, I would let them keep their rank from when they left. But, it is entirely up to you.

b) It is assumed that when you muster out you have finished all terms completely. Pension works in any career that allows pensions, so if you move from Navy to Army, you can count both careers, but if you go Navy to Drifter, only your Navy terms would count towards pension.

IF you want to have a game with the characters still in their careers, such as a Naval campaign, then you as the Referee are going to have to decide how much you let the characters have of their mustering out benefits. There are no rules about this one way or the other. Personally, I let them roll for all their mustering out benefits and treat them as things they have accumulated along the way, but they are still in their Career. You may decide otherwise... Which is fine.
