Real World Applications for Traveller

One of the things I like to do when I run a campaign is to try to give the players a lot of visuals to help them get more in tune with what their characters are experiencing.

In addition to the various artwork available online from game publishers and fan sites, a number of scientific websites are an absolute treasure trove of info. For example, suppose you want to show what a life-bearing planet looks like from the bridge of the scout cruiser approaching it.

You do? I don't remember seeing any visuals... oh wait, you've never run Traveller for us. Not more than a couple nights anyway.

And your RQ campaign did have a bazillion images and good color text as well. Okay, you're off the hook.
