Well that's the keyword here - HOBBY. And I don't think just simply collecting the miniatures alone counts a whole hobby.

I'm with you. I've got plenty of games I play. I enjoy painting minis but I don't have time to paint my hordes of minis for multiple games. BF:Evo offered me the solice of being able to play a game without the guilt of a silver or primer only army.rkhigdon said:Armchair_Marine said:Well that's the keyword here - HOBBY. Hey, sorry if the fact that I like to play the games but don't like painting somehow means I'm not involved in the hobby. The fact is that battlefield Evolution was marketed from the very beginning as "fast and tactical play with pre-painted figures in every box". So you'll excuse me if I'm of the opinion that dropping the pre-paints is bad news.

IF MP does that in the future fine. But, I will admit my faith (or should I say what little I had), is basically gone.
I plan to upgrade my miniature with Mongrel and MoFo along with 1/56th scale vehicles, or convert vehicles from various sources to 1/64 scale with MP and Eureka Kriegspiel troops, use Pietia's cards along with the MP rule book and continue playing Evo.
I still am expanding my SST armies, ever so slowly, and will continue playing that game also, adding stuff from other company lines.
Good Luck MP, you will need it......
Good bye.

"Well, we got a phone call shortly after wave 3 had been released. A bunch of guys in a far off country had seen the Battlefield Evolution range and liked them so much, they told their marketing guys that they just had to get us on board to do games and models based on the projects they were working on. "
They liked them so much they wanted them turned to metal, not painted and maybe in a different scale ? If that's liking I'd hate to see them love 'em.
