Just a guess. I would say it is likely that it would use Traveller rules because Nemesis is so much incorporated to A.B.C. Warriors (Spread the Word!) that is rumored to come out later (this year?).
I'd say it would have to use Traveller rules at this stage - it ought to be relatively accessible to 2000AD fans who have bought previous titles, like Judge Dredd and it gives the possibility of crossovers. Sorcery has already been done in Strontium Dog, by the way.
I'm sure it will happen - quite probably after ABC Warriors (maybe next year).
Sounds like 2000AD is off the menu with the split from Rebellion. ABC Warriors, at least, and if that's gone I can't see any other titles being worthwhile.
I wonder what this means for ongoing support for Dredd and Strontium Dog? Not that there's been much of that.
It is a real shame that the split has occurred but it looks as though Nick Robinson (Editor of Signs & Portents and all round good guy) is doing his bit to offer support from within the pages of the 'in house' magazine. The latest issue (no.87) has an excellent supplement entitled Taking the Law to the Lawless (penned by John White) and recently Nick (hallowed by thy name) also mentioned that he has 'more material which will appear in the next few months, including more Cursed Earth goodies for January...
