Re: 2nd Edition Dargan gets Stealth

I agree, I would have thought reversing the Ion cannons on the Vocrchan / Demos would have be fairer -as it is - the Demos is just a bit better. But as you say the new Centauri list is great fun! :)

prefer my Liati / Maximus team up to Centurion . :)

Thought about 4 Demos, 4 maximus, 1 Balvarian as have all the models...........

cool thing is there is lots of choice and should be varied Centauri fleets now.

A 6 Covran and 1 Dargan could be interesting?

Without the Interceptor the two ships would be roughly equivalent - however the Demos would lose some of its style. A few AD off the Ion Cannon may equalise them but as you all say, the Demos appears to be the better ship at the moment.

As for the Haven, the way the VPs table is worded, so far as I can tell (I just recently realised this), it matches one of the suggestions made regarding 2-for-1 ships. Even though you get two for a Patrol PL slot, they are still Patrol PL ships and therefore give away VPs as such. This more or less balances out the huge numbers you can purchase. Please correct me if I'm missing something here.

Now that´s an interesting point; that would really balance the whole twofer issue to a certain degree.

Can anyone confirm this?

I can :) They are still Patrol level ships, even though you get a break when buying them.

So how would putting an admiral on a Haven work (in an all Haven fleet)?

Does it become a single patrol point for 1 ship; or do you get two ships for a skirmish point, one of which has an admiral; or do you get two ships with two admirals for a skirmish point?

By the wording of the rules I make it out that one of the two ships becomes Skirmish PL (in terms of VPs) and you'd pay for one Skirmish PL slot to take the pair of them.

Its good - the Centauri have a very nice variety of Battle choices - my fav is the new Liaiti 8) (hoping fro a new model eventually !) - but the Dargan is good - more than risky against the Minbari - I see you says the Leshath! :)

I've only one model so far, but in play, the Liati is a sweet machine. Very dangerous. Now, at battle level, I can get more of them. And, I will ;)

With the Dargan going up to battle I'm a bit light in lower level ships. Might have to invest in some Demos as the model is so good looking.

Same here. I do want to try the dargan at battle level, but they were one of my mainstay centauri raid ships (I have four) so the level change does unbalance my fleet a fair bit. If you lost the stealth, and went back to sentris, would that be balanced as a raid ship, even with the change to weapons? I was going to sugest this to my friends, as I really liked it as raid level.
