Races stats

[Axerules]

A lot of races (including some coming from pastiches) have been stated thus far. A few races mentionned by REH seem to be missing (perhaps I'm wrong, so feel free to correct me):

• Yuetshi (in The Devil in Iron) are briefly describded in Hyboria's Fiercest but we don't have full stats.

• Kordafans (in Snout in the Dark): should I use Northern Black Kingdom stats or will they have their own ?

• Golden Kingdoms natives (in People of the Black Circle) : perhaps Vendhyan stats ?

• Kosalans (in Shadows in Zamboula and Red Nails)

• Will all those races be stated in future books ? Did someone created his homebrew stats for those races ?

Old Kosalans could use the Vendhyan stats. More modern ones, possibly, but with darker skin.

Golden Kingdoms should use Iranistani stats.

• I did read again Dale Rippke's Blue East essay, and I thought about something: Old Kosalans and the lesser castes inhabitants of Vendhya are both olive-skinned and seem related, but different from the Kshatrya white-skinned ruling caste.

• So shouldn't Vendhyans have two separate stats entries ? I don't think that Vendhyan commoners should have bonuses with lances. It was well done for Stygian Hybrids in Serpent of the south, made clearly different from the ruling caste, and I think that two different stats could be done. One for Old Kosalans and Vendhyans from lesser castes, one for modern Kosalans.

• I don't want to be annoying to you Mr Darlage by asking you some work, and if nobody else is interested I will stop to post in this thread and try to do those stats myself, but I would appreciate some thoughts about this. Thanks.

Yes, you are correct. It could be done. If Mongoose ever asks me for a Vendhya book (which I have been wanting to do for a long time; the chapter on Vendhya in ROK was the first chapter I wrote), I intend to do this, just like I did for Stygia.

Hmmm... I just had a thought on how to get it out sooner.
