Quintessential Wizard 4E rules questions

Greetings,

I have a couple of questions about the otherwise excellent feats in Quintessential Wizard.

The heroic tier feat Infernal Shaft of Dis says,

Code:
"When you take fire damage from an attack and are wielding your staff,
as an immediate reaction you gain resist fire equal to your Constitution
modifier."

How long does this resistance last? Or did you mean immediate interrupt, so that it lasts only for the triggering attack?

The multiclass feat Ultimate Tactics says,

Code:
"Once per encounter, when an adjacent ally of yours that you can see
spends an action point to make an extra attack, you can use the power you
selected as a minor action against your ally's target, in addition to the normal
effects of the attack."

Does the use of this minor action count against your actions on your next turn? Or did you mean for it to be a free or immediate action? The reason I ask is that free and immediate actions are explicitly discussed as being able to occur on another combatant's turn, but minor actions have no rules for this besides "You can normally take them only on your turn" (PHB 267). This may be a question for WotC custserv as well, but I was hoping you could clarify it first.

Many thanks!

Greetings Isomenes, and thanks for your feedbacks.
As for the Infernal Shaft of Dis, I'm not at home right now, so I can't give you the right answer. I should read it as soon as possibile and let you know.
As for the Ultimate Tactics feat, this is obviously a misprint.
The right paragraph should have been:

Code:
"Once per DAY, when an adjacent ally of yours that you can see
spends an action point to make an extra attack, you can use the power you
selected as a minor action DURING YOUR NEXT TURN against your ally's target, in addition to the normal effects of the attack."

A brand new PDF update should be available soon: it will correct some misprint and mistake (i.e. metamagic feats), so stay tuned! [/quote]

Many thanks for your reply. The errata you published address all of my questions most satisfactorily. I must also commend you for retooling the healing surge cost in many of the metamagic feats; it makes them much less subject to Durability abuse.

I look forward to seeing how your interpretation fits or complements WotC's own take on this sort of option.
