Okay, I thought I had understood how this works, but now it may again seems I have misunderstood something.
If I make a permanent common magic item, say a Sword of Bladesharp 3. Does it then:
1. ALWAYS have +3 Dmg and +15% combat style
2. I need to activate the sword, which then casts Bladesharp 3 on my sword. The spell then has a cooldown as described on the tables in A&E.
3. It varies from divine items to sorcery items.
I used to think that option number 2 is most appropriate, and also the one described in the rules. However I was confused because on p 97. it says "A sword imbued with Bladesharp 3, for example, would automatically add +15% to the user's Combat style and +3 to damage". While on p 100 it says that "it cannot automatically be used again". Does this mean that divine items always grant the bonus while sorcery items only does it while activated?
