Question for the Spirit Lords

I was thinking of a troll tribal spirit called Leadbelly that increased Armor Points, but I'd only want it to increase APs on the body ('cos of the name). If an ordinary Intensity 2 armor spirit raises APs by 2 on every location, would it be fair to allow Intensity 2 Leadbelly to raise APs on chest and abdomen only by 4?

Seems fine to me, but thought I'd ask.
 
I would actually consider allowing it to add +6.

My argument is that there's a 6/20 = 30% chance that they'll hit abdomen or chest, and 30% of 6 is about 2, so it sort of balances out.
Not to mention the fact that you can easily get around it by the choose location CM

Just my 5 cents.

Good point. Think I'll use this rule of thumb in future.

Is this an example of the association of trolls and drumming and other music? Is there a Gloranthan version of "Midnight Special"?

I think the spirit is definitely associated with the tradition of Hobobobom, although the Midnight Special shines its ever-loving darkness on Uz.
